About Us

Gregory Ciano founded Freggie Productions, a video production and editing company based in Central New Jersey, in 1999 to create high-quality, entertaining videos for the children's educational media market.

Freggie Productions' educational videos for children have been designed to appeal to the entire family with their fast-paced and sophisticated mix of humor, information and music. All of our videos specifically use humor to keep children thoroughly engaged, which is why our motto is: If they're laughing, they're learning.

The company's first major series, The Adventures of Dave and Augie , stars two exuberant sock puppets, Dave and Augie, who travel the US in search of important history monuments and sites. It is available at www.LibraryVideo.com .

About the Executive Producers of Freggie Productions

GREGORY CIANO

Since he first began performing for friends and family at the Freggie Productions Owner Gregory Ciano with puppet Daveage of seven, Gregory Ciano has been passionate about puppetry. As a young man, he performed live puppets shows on the boardwalks of the Jersey Shore and puppet re-enactments of fairy-tales for birthdays parties. Greg was also the Producer for several seasons of teen theater in Old Bridge and South Plainfield, New Jersey as well as for several short films. His academic credentials include study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and at Weist Baron in New York City. Gregory is married and is the proud father of a baby boy.

 

DAWN CIANO FRASCARIA

Dawn Ciano Frascaria assists Gregory with managing the educational aspects of The Adventures of Dave and Augie and handles the management of the Freggie Productions and Dave and Augie websites. She and Greg have been a team from the time that they worked together on several seasons of teen theater, where Dawn acted as choreographer. Her academic credits include a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and International Studies from the University of Richmond and a Master's Degree in History from Emory University. Dawn currently lives in Rome, Italy with her husband and young daughter.
